will not prime itseft to start

I have a 70 hp how did not start for about 3 year.
If i put gas in every cylinder it will start and stay start .But the engine wont start whit out a prime to each cylinder?
What could be the problem some part did dry out and have a air leak?
or something else?

Do you have a model number or a year at least? It sounds like it could be a bad primer solenoid.

Hello sometimes after sitting the primmer sticks ometime a rap to the primer with a screwdriver will do it good luck steve.
