Replacement Prop Nut for my Motorguide Pro Series 40 Trolling Motor

Will Motorguide model MP4300 trolling motor prop nut (part # MAR09902T) serve as the replacement part for my old 1999 Motorguide Pro Series 40 (43 lb. thrust) trolling motor on my BassTracker? Your help would be much appreciated.

I will need the serial number for the 1999 motor so I can find the nut and compare the part numbers, If the numbers are different I am going to assume the part in also different and don't recommend using it.
