I am trying to reinstall the motor for '89 Galaxie.  I bought the alignment tool for realigning.  I removed the upper unit to use the tool through the gimbal bearing.  I can see the gear where the shaft should fix, but I am unable to get it to line up.  I have the motor resting on the back two motor mounts and have adjusted the front two both up and down with no luck.  What am I doing wrong?
