Transom Removal - Alpha One Gen II

Att Technical Department.

Alpha one (GEN II), Transom Assembly removal.

I have having difficulty in removing the Gimble Ring, fitted to my
Alpha one (GENII) drive , as I can not remove the Steering mounting
retainer nut (in the Transom Assembly. I can NOT get a spanner into the
void that holds the steering mount arm (on the engine side of the
Assembly).

It looks like the only way to remove the Gimble mount steering arm nut,
is the removal of the Transom Assembly. (Is this correct?) or engine
removal?

Is there a document describing how to remove the Transom assembly. (or
removal / replacement the Gimble Ring).

Please advise.

Hamish

you would have to remove the engine to access the nut holding the steering arm
