Measuring Mercury/Mariner Driveshaft Length Rate This Topic Topic Options

To obtain length, measure from the top of the gearcase housing (base of the water pump plate) to the top of the shaft.

  • "L" driveshafts measure 23"
  • "XL" driveshafts measure 28"
  • "XXL" driveshafts meassure 33"
